Hello! My name is Zeke Hartmann, the proprietor of Hartwood Custom Furniture and Repair. I currently serve the Twin Ports area of MN and WI.

In my mid-twenties I started investing time into woodworking and luthier courses at my local community college. There I met Chris Timm. A multigenerational furniture builder, finisher and professor whom also owned a private repair and restoration shop. In 2017 he offered me a paid apprenticeship where I learned the craft of custom furniture, repair and finish.

I have a full quiver of fine furniture building and finishing techniques that cover many eras of original pieces and reproductions.
